i think qr codes serve a great purpose and can be pretty cool if implemented correctly, but i fear that advertisers will treat this like every other newly emerging technology… by trying to fit its square shape into a round hole. using it for the sake of saying, “hey, we’re staying on top of the game.” when in reality, they’re only jumping on the bandwagon with little regard to the end user experience.
